Speaker: Brigadier General (Ret) Rhonda Cornum, PhD, MD: Rhonda’s story is one of strength under fire—literally. After surviving a helicopter crash and becoming a POW during the Gulf War, she went on to architect the Army’s Comprehensive Soldier Fitness program. A physician, scientist, and soldier, she’s spent decades proving that resilience is more than a buzzword—it’s a system for thriving in adversity. When she’s not training leaders, she’s on her farm in Kentucky raising Gordon Setters and breeding international champion field dogs.
1SG (Ret) Christopher Poe: Christopher served nearly three decades as an Infantryman, Drill Sergeant, and First Sergeant—training and leading America’s warfighters. Now the Senior Trainer at 49 North, he brings the Mental Armor™ framework to corporate and community leaders alike. Christopher blends command presence with deep compassion—and he knows resilience isn’t just for the battlefield. He’s a husband, father of four, and proud grandfather, living in Lincolnshire, England with his wife Chrissie and their three cats: two Maine Coons, Stormy and Cookie, and their Ragdoll, Bertie.
